About the House

Serious prints. Unserious subjects.

INK is an edition house built on a simple observation: the best walls in the world — the villas, the beach clubs, the grand hotels — have always had a sense of humour about themselves. Somewhere along the way, the art stopped joining in.

So we make fine art with a wink. Editorial photography in the tradition of the great mid-century magazines — precise light, disciplined composition, impeccable manners — starring subjects that never made the guest list. A goose guarding a villa. A leopard vanishing into its own upholstery. A penguin who has, quite visibly, logged off.

The craft is not the joke

Every work is produced as a numbered edition of 150 on 308gsm archival cotton rag, printed with museum-grade pigment inks rated for over a century. Framed works are finished by hand in solid oak or black wood behind art glass, and every print ships with a numbered certificate of authenticity.

We are entirely serious about the paper, the ink, the frame, and the delivery crate. The goose handles the rest. Since 2024, INK editions have made their way onto walls across Europe and beyond — kitchens, studies, hotel corridors, and at least one very good downstairs loo.

Collection Nº 1 — The Interlopers

Seven works about animals in places built to keep almost everyone out. It begins at the rope line of a members-only beach club and ends on an empty white continent. In between: two warnings about a dog that does not exist, a fully booked Riviera pool, an espresso for emergencies, and one extremely well-matched house cat.
